D. ten Hove Consultancy B.V. is the only company in the Netherlands which has the possibility to execute research on model scale in the field of surface aeration for both square tank and oxidation ditch application. On a reliable and efficient way the specific behaviour of different aeration types can be determined. Practical problems can easily be reproduced and investigated. Our goal: reliability and cost savings for the improvements found during research can be simply translated to full scale conditions.

Alpha factor measurements

In those cases where the influence of the in the wate water active detergents and the negative effect of the oxygen transfer into the water is uncertain an alpha test will determine this influence very accurate. This relative simple measurement can void a too small or too big aeration capacity. Where both aeration systems, surface and bubble aeration will have its own influence on the alpha factor for both systems the measurement equipment is available.
